German Reformed Church Cemetery, Easton, Pennsylvania

The German Reformed Cemetery was located at 5th and Church Sts. in Easton. I 1902, the Easton Area Public Library has built on this site. If there were living relatives, the bodies were moved to other locations; However, some remained there and were put in a large vault.

The parish register at Kirchheim (Kircheimbolanden)gives the date of
birth of Col. Kachlein, 8 Nov. 1722. His father, Johann-Andreas, was
born at Listal, in Switzerland, Feb. 1680, d. at Kirchheim, 23 Sept, 1722
His mother was Anna-Margaretha Hahn of Heppenheim bei Alzey.
The remains of Col. Kachlein, and his two wives will shortly be removed
to the Easton Cemetery
